English Copper Mold 1800's
English Copper Mold 1800's
English fluted copper mold from the 1800's. I believe these molds were used for jellies, but I'm sure they were used for many baking things! This mold is handmade with some brass soldering on the copper (in the inside). It has patina, but a tiny big of actual verdigris. Some of the tin is showing through on the exterior around the rim, but not much. It can be cleaned up really nice to look brand new! Copper exterior & lined with tin. There are no holes in this mold so it's still usable after being cleaned! The shape is slightly crooked, but can be shaped back easily.

C O P P E R C L E A N I N G • If you’d like, I offer the option for your copper piece to be cleaned before it's shipped. I don’t do re-tinning, but just clean the piece as good as I can naturally. There may still be some verdigris left that I cannot remove. Please send me a message if you’d like it to be cleaned, right after you purchase, so I know ahead of time.
